Amy E. Jones

Amy Jones earned a Bachelor of Arts degree as an English Literature major with a minor in Political Science at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia and her Juris Doctorate from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University located in Macon, Georgia.   She was admitted to the Georgia Bar in November 2005.  After receiving her law degree, Ms. Jones represented insurers and self-insured employers and claimant s in the area of workers’ compensation law.  In addition, she served as a Special Attorney General representing the Georgia Department of Human Resources Child Support Division and provided representation for parties in Juvenile law matters.

Ms. Jones was admitted to the Oregon Bar in May 2009, and the Washington Bar in February 2010.  Prior to joining Cole, Wathen, Leid & Hall, P.C. she represented insurers and self-insured employers in defense of workers’ compensation matters at a firm in Portland, Oregon.   Her practice now focuses on the areas of insurance coverage, including coverage disputes, insurance litigation, including first party coverage, third party insurance defense and insurance fraud and bad faith.
