Masaki J. Yamada

Masaki J. Yamada graduated from Seattle University with a B.A. in Political Science and earned his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. He worked full-time as a paralegal for the Tort Section of the King County Prosecutor’s Civil Division while attending law school at night. Mr. Yamada worked for many years at the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office as a victim advocate, restitution investigator, paralegal and Civil Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. He has defended King County in numerous cases involving tort and civil rights allegations. He has also defended agency actions and enforced code provisions in front of administrative boards. Mr. Yamada’s current practice focuses on insurance litigation, including first party coverage, third party insurance defense, and insurance fraud. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court and 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
